The Jesus Storybook Bible, Sally Lloyd -Jones& Illustrated by Jago (God’s Great Story of Salvation)

My daughter Melody heard a pastor recommend this book as a MUST HAVE for parents with small children.
I had to read it. I recommend it to mothers and grand mothers for their children. The publisher recommends it for children ages 4 and up. Published by Zonderkidz.

If you began reading this book to your small children, by the time they hit the teen years they will have a clear understanding of God's story of redemption.  An oft-repeated line in each story is: For example in Leah's story.... Now when Leah knew that God loved her, in her heart, suddenly it didn't matter anymore whether her husband loved her best, or if she was the prettiest. Someone had chosen her; someone did love her---with a Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love. "The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the story beneath all the stories in the Bible. It takes the whole Bible to tell this story.

And at the center of the Story, there is a baby, the Child upon whom everything would depend. From Noah to Moses to King David, every story whispers his name; Jesus is like the missing piece in a puzzle--the piece that makes all the other pieces fit together.

Beautifully written and illustrated, The Jesus storybook Bible invites children to discover for themselves that Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation-and at the center of their story, too. A child that grows up with the book will absolutely know the story of God's love. I recommend this highly.

At my Nana Summer Camp last year, I read this book to our twin grand children they were almost ten and each night they said the same thing... "just one more story Nana, just one more." The artwork is amazing. The writing is delightful!
A must buy for every parent and grandparent!!
